Richard S. Katz, O.D.
Dr. Katz is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated, with honors, from Towson State University with a degree in Biology. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1983, with honors, from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He founded Optometric Eye Care Associates in 1984, and partnered with MyEyeDr. in 2011 at it's present location in Burke.

His special interests are primary vision care for the family including kids, contact lenses, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. He also provides pre-and post-operative co-managed care for laser vision correction and cataract surgery patients. He resides close to the office with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys golf, travel and watching his children's activities.
